There are some football "good news" stories around (not many, true) and so adopting a festive hat we thought we'd let you know of the BBC highlighting the return to the Borough of Merton of AFC Wimbledon next season. The country's newest club has agreed a groundshare with Tooting & Mitcham, whose ground has a capacity of 3,500, thus signalling a return to the club's homeland. It's not quite Plough Lane, but at least it's yet another example of good winning in the battle against evil, or something.
