Huddersfield Town have applied to the High Court to go into administration. They are bottom of the Second Division, facing relegation, and the chairman, David Taylor, indicated he cannot afford to fund the club beyond yesterday's home match against Bristol City, which the Terriers lost 2-1. The players have not been paid in full for three months.
