Thanks to the PlayerHistory website, there is a nice potted history of the playing career of new U's supremo Ramon Diaz. Unfortunately, I can't find a managerial record for him (other than that he's won a fair amount including the Argentinian Apertura championships in 1996, 1997 and 1999, the Clausura championships in 1997 and 2002, the Libertadors Cup (equivalent to the Champions League) in 1996 and the Supercopa (for winners of the Libertadores Cup) in 1997.

As to how Firoz Kassam managed to secure such a coup, one can only assume that it wasn't by responding to this advertisment!!
